Our client, a top 50 UK law firm, have an opportunity for an experienced Legal Cashier to join a growing Finance department in Bristol. This role is crucial in maintaining Accounts Payable (AP) ledgers, ensuring accurate and prompt processing of external costs while adhering to internal controls and regulations.
The Role
- Processing invoices, disbursements, expenses, and travel feeds
- Maintaining the integrity of AP ledgers
- Reconciling supplier statements, ensuring timely payments, and managing supplier accounts
- Investigating and resolving supplier queries promptly
- Providing administrative support, including filing, data compilation, research, and special projects
What We’re Looking For
- Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger specialist with experience in the legal sector
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Strong attention to detail, able to work to strict deadlines
- Experience handling multiple currencies, VAT compliance, and SRA accounts rules knowledge
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Excel and other IT systems
